Fall 2010 Lingerie trend

I did some research for my Fash111A category lingerie prject. the flowers come in all shapes and sizes this fall as little prints, lacy arrangements and embroideries add charm to the most basic lingerie silhouettes.

the one I loved is the first pic, each piece is specially draped, twisted and hand finished with delicate raw edged silk chiffon, silk organza, complimented with Swarovski crystals covered in silk chiffon. It's so delicate not just undergarments anymore...

Fall 2010 Collection Balenciaga & Burberry

When I was looking at the Fall 2010 Collection, I found out there is a lot of interesting and fun stuff going on at the runway. Sportswear influence, military influence, American classic styles and sexy appeal... My favorite collection is Balenciaga & Burberry, they look so good. Nicolas Ghesquière use lots of color block for the collection which is adorable; For burberry Christopher Bailey showed a powerful and sexy military-themed collection.

Fashion fabric store in LA

International Silks & Woolens is one of the best fabric store in LA.They have everything! They are slighty more expensive but for serious fashion designers, costume designers, this place is a mecca for silks, beaded fabrics, and high quality wool.

The employees know their stuff. They are older employees but they're are all about giving you the correct, best fabric. They even sell designer fabrics such as Chanel and Missoni! They give swatches to students and do not ask for ID and it's unlimited! Sometimes, they're busy but just approach an employee and wait until they're done because their service is amazing.

There are another fabulious silk fabric store called orientalsilk, their stuff is amazing too, the price is less expensive than international silk, and the silk fabric quality is great... If you are interested in fashion fabric, you may also go check the Mood Fabric too...

He told WWD that Spring 2010 for him"is very much about classic American sportswear". And the idea is visible in pieces like a sweatshirt dress with football pad detailing...
In current economic, a lot of NY designers taking an introverted look at the clothes that make America great, all American girls donned sporty, easy to wear classics in denim, cotton and grey-marl jersey...
